From this was born our next passion, powder snowboarding. Onsen. Mountains. Powder snow. Now we spend our time traveling and enjoying these passions. Our Japan Regions

NIIGATA

Some argue Niigata has the best water in Japan, which leads to the best rice and therefore the best sake! This high-quality water comes from the large amount of powder snow that falls on the mountains and feeds the streams. We love it here and think you will too!

Hakone is where we began our journey. We built our first “rotenburo” or outdoor bath and started our journey with vacation rentals.
